Tracy post,

Answer the question: Does God really exist?

I find this question to be the most interesting question to exist today.  After reading the five ways of demonstrating God’s existence in Aquinas, I have come to my opinion and conclusion that God does exist.  In the five ways, one of the ways demonstrating God’s existence was the gradation that is found in things, meaning there has to be a type of change to become more or less.  I thought this provided the strongest reason because it brought the thought to me that there has to be a maximum like how the fire is the maximum to heat. So to me, the maximum is God.  My own reasoning with this question is that God can exist to anyone.  God is real to one person where as God is not real to another.  One can believe in an entirely different God than another person where as one won’t believe in God at all. One can believe God exists, one cannot believe God exists, and one can decide that he or she just doesn’t know yet.  I think its based on the individual and his or her beliefs.

Hannah post,

Answer the question: What did your employer do in this communication that made you receptive or unreceptive to the message from the employer?

A form of communication I often receive from my higher employers are emails. There are many people that give me information about work or I answer to when it comes to work. The most common for important information is by email. I have always been receptive to these emails because of the professionalism my employers portray. They always state who they are, they often include a general greeting, they’re straight to the point with what they need to put out in the email and they conclude the email with a signature or their name. In my line of work professionalism is crucial.

I also receive text messages from my employers but those are usually from employers with less authority. Texts are used to get quick information out, usually late notices or last minute tasks that need to be done. These messages are less professional and not always outlined like an email. I am receptive to these texts as well as the emails because my employer still portrays a level of professionalism and they’re always straight forward with the information to be put out. No matter the type of message I receive, my employers always hold communication in the work place to a high standard.
